Members of the Charles McBurney Laboratory for Geoarchaeology

The McBurney Laboratory is one of the few geoarchaeology laboratories in the UK that is dedicated to both the analysis of past landscape systems and the use of space on settlement sites using micromorphological and geoarchaeological techniques. The laboratory is managed by Professor Charles French with the assistance of the Chief Research Technician Tonko Rajkovaca. It undertakes a variety of projects funded by research bodies and developer-funded archaeology on material from around the world.

Annual reports of the McBurney Laboratory to the McDonald Institute are available from 2002 to the present and provide a good outline of our research activities.
