Prof Rosalie David is a world-renowned Egyptologist. Prof David’s specialisation is biomedical Egyptology which augments the existing archaeological and literary approach to understanding the civilisation of ancient Egypt. At the KNH Centre for Biomedical Egyptology, she builds on the Manchester Egyptian Mummy Research Project, including collaboration with science institutions in Egypt.
Prof David is collaborating with Dr Judith Bunbury (Dept of Earth Sciences and St Edmund’s College, Cambridge) working on the New Kingdom Research Foundation that has conducted a decade of investigations into the necropoli of the Western Theban Mountain.
