Biography
I grew up in New England and after a ten-year break from my education, attended the University of Southern Maine (USM) where I studied Geography-Anthropology with a focus in archaeology. After I earned my bachelor’s degree, I moved on to pursue an MA in Landscape Archaeology at the National University of Ireland Galway as a fully funded scholar through the Government of Ireland.
My PhD at Cambridge focuses on the Nuraghe of Sardinia and the role that these monumental structures have played throughout time. I am honoured to be funded through the Gates Cambridge
Research
I am interested in monumental landscapes, memory, and monument use through the longue durée.
My MA dissertation focused on passage tomb landscapes in Ireland, France, and Scotland.
For my PhD I am examining Nuragic ‘landscapes of memory’ in Sardinia.
