Department of Archaeology

Biography

Having completed my MA in the Archaeology and Heritage of Asia, I jumped straight into the world of commercial archaeology. As well as digging I have also been a part of CAAL, remote sensing archaeology in Central Asia. After doing the hectic commercial circuit for a few years I am back to doing what I truly love which is researching and raising awareness of the archaeology and heritage of South Asia. In the future I would love to marry all my past experiences by being part of an excavation in this region.

Research

My Bsc dissertation looked at the relationship between religion and archaeological heritage management in Pakistan and my MA dissertation looked at trade along the Grand Trunk Road.

In the future I would like to follow these lines of research further but in general I have a great passion for all things archaeology and heritage in South Asia.
