Lismore landscape project

The Lismore Landscape Project is investigating the Iron Age landscape of the island of Lismore. This island, located in Loch Linnhe near Oban in Argyll (Scotland), was surveyed by the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) in the 1960s. A recent survey of priorities in the British Iron Age identified Argyll as a key area for more detailed landscape investigation.
