Maria Alicia Uribe-Villegas is Director of the largest and most visited museum in Colombia, hosting the largest collection of pre-Hispanic goldwork as well as other archaeological materials or international significance. She regularly helps with facilitating access to high-profile collections, data and other resources, and brokering many additional links with other archaeologists and institutions in Colombia and beyond. She helps to use her knowledge and reputation in South America as the leader of a flagship museum that also lends temporary exhibits to major museums around the world.
