Biography

My research explores how genetic material inherited from Neanderthals and Denisovans continues to shape human biology. Within the ARCH-3D project, funded by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, I investigate the influence of introgressed DNA on the three-dimensional structure of chromatin and its role in gene regulation.

Research

  • Human evolutionary genetics

  • Chromatin 3D structure

  • Gene expression regulation
