“As Head of Department, I really hope to have opportunities to continue offering excellent teaching to our students and our postgraduate students especially, giving them really excellent opportunities to engage in really exciting and interesting Masters and PhD level research.”

Prof Petrie’s research is primarily focused on human and environment relations and general long term archaeological history in many different regions, but especially in India, Pakistan and Iran.
