Department of Archaeology

In light of the latest advice about the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, this year's Cambridge Open Days are being delivered entirely online, through our Virtual Open Days. In order to attend the Virtual Open Days, please register in advance. To book your place, please complete this booking form.

The University has also recently launched the Virtual Tour platform which will host some Open Day content from Monday 29 June to Sunday 5 July 2020 including a pre-recorded presentation on the Archaeology course, a sample Archaeology lecture from Dr Susanne Hakenbeck and general information about the Colleges and departments, the application process, student life, and finance.

On Thursday 2 and Friday 3 July, the University will be running many general, subject and College Live Q&A sessions. You will be able to sign up to these sessions in advance via the Open Days programme, or see below for the Archaeology specific live sessions.

The Cambridge Virtual Open Days are aimed at prospective applicants in Year 12 (or equivalent) and prospective mature applicants (aged 21 or over), together with any parents or supporters. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore our University and Colleges virtually and gain insight into what it is like to be a student at the University of Cambridge.

You can sign up to individual Archaeology sessions via the links below:
