See the relevant announcement on the McDonald Institute jobs page.

Most Cambridge Colleges offer 3-year Junior Research Fellowships, open to all subjects, for those who are completing or have just completed their PhDs. The Fritz Thyssen foundation offers two-year postdoctoral stipends to those who received the PhD within the last two years. There is no deadline, and decisions are usually reached within eight weeks. The application should not be under consideration by other funding bodies at the same time. Enquiries elicited the information that their stipulation "topics related thematically to German research interests" refers to "research that is of interest to the research landscape in Germany. This does not necessarily mean that this must be research about Germany. In each case, we examine on an individual basis to what extent this relationship exists in a project."
