Cape Verde
I have begun (with Chris Evans, Cambridge Archaeological Unit and Konstantin Richter, Jean Piaget University, Cape Verde) the first scientific archaeological exploration of the Jesuit seminar and other religious buildings at the early slave transshipment centre, Cidade Velha, on Cape Verde. This project will include an investigation of heritage and local identities in its scope.
