Current research interests
I work on archaeobotany and archaeogenetics, in the context of the broader archaeology of food. My current research interests include:
- Food sharing in the Upper Palaeolithic, currently in the context of the Moravian Gravettian project
- The spread of farming across Asia, currently in the context of the Domestication of Europe project and the East West Millet project
- The development of agrarian societies and their food economies in later prehistory and historic periods, currently in the context of the Port of Rome project
Other current research activities in the George Pitt Rivers Research group can be found at the George Pitt-Rivers Laboratory web pages
