Supervision topics
I supervise Masters and PhD students on a variety of subjects relating to the political economy and historical ecology of the medieval world. I am also interested in thematic or methodological topics regarding maritime societies globally.
My previous Masters and PhD students have gone on to PhD programmes and archaeology posts (within universities, government agencies and commercial units) in Belgium, England, Ireland, Iceland and Scotland.
