Supervision topics

I currently supervise students investigating in a range of topics related to South Asian archaeology and Iranian archaeology and ceramic studies. I am interested in supervising students who who wish to study for an MPhil or a PhD in the following topics:

  • Topics related to environmental and archaeological transformations in northwest India between 2000-300 BC-including landscape archaeology, geoarchaeology, palaeo-environment and material culture studies
  • Topics related to the environment and archaeology of the Peshawar Valley in the Late Prehistoric and Early Historic periods-including landscape archaeology, geoarchaeology, palaeo-environment and material culture studies, particularly the analysis of the chronology, production and distribution of ceramics
  • Topics related to the socio-economic and political importance of ceramic production and distribution southwest Iran between 6000-50 BC
