Access Cambridge Archaeology also offers a chance for you to go on a real excavation, visit a top class university and talk to current students through our Field Academies program. Visit our Program of Events to find out more about upcoming events and dates to keep in your diary.
Alternatively, we can come to your school so that you and your classmates can participate in a Discovery Day workshop. In the workshop you will get a chance to handle real archaeological artefacts, learn about archaeology and applying to university, talk to undergraduates and learn about archaeology.
If you have already been on one of the Field Academies or Discovery Days, why not keep in touch with the students that you met via our Facebook Group, check out the Excavation Reports for your dig or see if we have posted a picture of you or your friends somewhere on the page.
